The first party…

Written by Arty Farty Film Party on April 5th, 2009

Wednesday 15th April will be the debut of Arty Farty Film Party at An Outlet, 77 Dale Street, Manchester.

To kick things off we’re starting with one of our favourite film genre’s… 1980’s teen movies. They’ve got it all; The clothes, the music, the dancing, the cars, the babes, the hunks. They are quite possibly the only thing to ever make us want to relive our teenage years.

We’ve picked a couple of classics for you to vote on, however please feel free to add your own choices. The most popular film will be screened at the first Arty Farty Film Party 7:30pm, 15th April, so get your votes in now - poll closes Friday 10th April. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

THE POLL FOR THIS PARTY IS NOW CLOSED

A classic choice! We’re going to be sorting the polls soon so that you can enter an ‘other’ choice and subsequent voters can see if and vote on it if they wish.

But for now keep your fingers crossed that others will be rooting for Fame!

Any film with Emilio Esteves in, is ok in my book! Althoguh St Elmo’s Fire is about 20-something college graduates, so it can’t be included in this poll - i’m sure it’ll be able to go into one of the future 80’s categories though :)
